What's Up?

This page will be used to keep you up to date on what we're doing, I hope. I am not a writer, but I will do my best to post something that is worth reading every couple of weeks.

Laser In USE!

We have been doing more and more with our laser cutter. This scene was hand drawn, layer by layer, and then scanned in to create a digital file. From there, we cut each layer on the laser cutter and then mounted to a beautiful piece of pecan. The next clock is an original drawing that was scanned in and then laser engraved, also on a nice piece of pecan. It's been fun experimenting with all the different uses for the laser cutter.

Not everything is laser cut, however. The mountain sunset below was cut by hand using our scroll saw. The pieces were then hand tinted to create a beautiful scene. I still love the look of something hand cut.
